The Quiet Rebellion of Valuing Yourself

Have you ever felt like you’re being measured by a yardstick that doesn’t actually fit who you are? In my latest blog and book, we explore the metaphor of the single-use coffee cup. It’s a stinging realization when we notice a workplace treating us as something disposable: convenient for a moment, but ultimately meant to be tossed aside once the "utility" is extracted.

But here’s the truth we often forget: valuing yourself in a world obsessed with metrics is a quiet rebellion. It is a radical act of defiance to look at a KPI and say, "This is what I did, but it is not who I am."  When we embrace the "They’re Worth It!" philosophy, the journey must start within. Choosing to see your worth as an inherent human truth is how we move from mere corporate compliance to courageous, human-centric leadership.

You're Worth It!
